This month, we are delighted to launch Kapu Tī with Whitney: Member Stories, Shared Learning, Real Impact, a new member spotlight series developed through a collaboration between Social Value Aotearoa and Whitney Nicholls-Potts of Kaputī Studio.
Featured exclusively in the Members Area of our website, this monthly series will showcase the people behind the work. Through relaxed conversations over a kapu tī, Whitney will sit down with members from across our network to explore their professional journeys, what inspires their work, and the lessons they have learned along the way.
The series aims to strengthen connections across our membership, celebrate the diversity of expertise within our community, and provide opportunities for shared learning. Whether working in government, iwi and Māori organisations, community organisations, business, research, or consultancy, our members are helping shape how value is understood, measured, and created throughout Aotearoa.
We invite all members to follow the series each month, discover new perspectives, and connect with the stories of fellow practitioners and leaders who are helping create positive social change.

About Whitney
Whitney Nicholls-Potts (Ngāti Kurī) is a business owner, storyteller, creative practitioner, and community connector whose work has long reflected the principles that sit at the heart of social value. Through Kaputī Studio, Whitney has created a platform centred on connection, manaakitanga, community, culture, and meaningful conversations.
Her passion for sharing stories, celebrating people, and strengthening communities makes her a natural collaborator for Social Value Aotearoa and the Kapu Tī with Whitney series.
